The 22nd day of March was designated by the UN General Assembly as the World Water Day to to draw international attention to the critical lack of clean, safe drinking water worldwide.
Several of the art, music, and dance presentations we have seen and participated in this last week at the Yoga Art Festival (the event that we mentioned in our last newsletter) were inspired by this very important subject: water.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you all of the importance of being conscious about our own personal use of water as well as our responsibilities as citizens in making sure our governments reflect the best practices in the public use and conservation of water in our area.
